HOSPITALITY TEAM

The hospitality teams’ function is to ensure that all attending our church are warmly greeted (Welcomed). In the event of new arrivals the team ensures that the newcomer is briefed about the church and offers them a pamphlet about the church. The team also introduces the people to heads of other ministries (in particular to the children’s ministry, in the case of new kids). If there are any needs or questions raised we endeavour to point the newcomers in the right direction.

Over the last year, The team has grown by approx. 5 members. I feel there is a sense of belonging amongst the team. One also generally gets to know more and more of and about the members of the church as well as the ins and outs of other ministries.

We are planning to produce a small brochure advising what hospitality is about and the duties involved. We would like to get many more members involved. By being part of hospitality, one gets to know each other better, which will result us becoming a more caring and unified church family.
