    • June 2009
There have been a number of major changes in the ministry of OM Zimbabwe that have only just occurred so that means that there are a lot of changes in the pipeline for the work here in Zimbabwe.
The decisions have been made by our Board and I am still waiting for more information. Once we have received it I will be in a better position to give you more information.
I am still planning to join the OM Ship, the Logos Hope in September this year. The Lord willing, I am planing to be back in S A some time round the 15th of June, to work in the OM Book Shop and to finish off support raising and as I have already said, join the Logos Hope in September.
I can not really go in to any detail about the ministry of OM Zimbabwe at the moment untill we have more information.
However I can say the the Medical Ministry in the Zambezi Valley to the Tonga people is continuing. Vicky Graham, is a fully qualified nurse and is continuing to run a mobile clinic based out of the village of Siabuwa and travels to a number of other villages over a 2 week rotation bases.
She sees on average 200 patients a day so is kept very busy.
Hopefully now that the rains have finished the malaria cases will start to drop.
Please pray for the on going struggle of sourcing the necessary medicines and equipment needed.
I have one important Prayer request at the moment.
I have one major hurdle still to overcome, that of supporting my elderly mentally handicapped brother. I was supposed to have a meeting with one of my supporters here in Zimbabwe this week but unfortunately he is ill and the meeting has been postponed till sometime early next week.
Time is fast running out for me and I have a lot to sort out so please will you pray with me that The Lord will open doers and speed up the process for me to complete the support raising for my brother , Peter, and that he will co-operate with us and not resist all the necessary changes in his life.
      Thank you for your prayers.
